Following
hand written report sent to Bde 23 was as requested: item #5 at
approx. 2105, 1 mortar round fell on C Co. CP bunker. Results 1
KIA & 1 WIA. Lt. Heide Arty Liason indicates round was from C
Co. 81mm mortars. From all indications ammunition was
faulty. Lt. Heide checked data on guns and FO's, all was correct |
