Though I don't draw in an "architectural"
style I find buildings fascinating, for, large or small, they are the
monuments by which we define our lives

Cabin in the Woods
This Pennsylvania campsite drawing is one of a set of eight done on
commission, to create an "art wall" of original pictures of favorite
vacation spots. The set included views of Toronto, the Grand Canyon,
Upper Yellowstone Falls, Cumberland Falls and the Tetons.
By permission, Paul and Karen Masarik.

Painted Lady
This doorway has been refurbished to its turn-of-the-century elegance,
when it served as the entryway to a wealthy family's home on
Cleveland's east side, just one block away from famed Millionaire's Row on
Euclid Avenue.

New Hampshire Farm
This farm dates to the mid-1800's. The barn's frame was built of
hand-hewn timbers held together by wooden pegs. The supports for the
main floor were oak trees five feet in diameter. Stanchions for
dairy cows lined one side, work rooms the other, and a winter's supply of
loose hay forked in by hand filled the lofts from side to side and front
to back.

Cleveland Museum of Art
Set in the elegant surroundings of Cleveland's University Circle, the art
museum contains a trove of unique art and artifacts representing mankind's
great epochs, as well as the personal achievements of many of its greatest
artisans. What a privilege to come here, to see free of charge such
magnificence!

"Oilcan" Church
The Epworth-Euclid United Methodist Church in Cleveland's University
Circle is modeled after Mont Saint MIchel in France. Situated across
the pond from the Cleveland Museum of Art, this striking architecture
dominates the view from Euclid Avenue as you approach Cleveland's art
district.

Cleveland Y.M.C.A.
You can almost hear the Village People rollicking through a chorus of
their classic song as you view this relic from the early 1900's, the
downtown Cleveland Y.M.C.A. center. The buildings occupy one-half of
a city block with apartments, exercise areas and meeting facilities.
